Du is very expressive and creative
A year before Du moved to Spain; he jumped into my empty suitcase bag when I was packing the suitcases. I removed him immediately, and he jumped into it again. All of us knew he was telling me to stay or to pack him away too. It was always difficult for Du to see me return and leave again.

His Dream Came True
He never knew that his dream would finally come true. His mom needed to relocate overseas. She could not carry her son, so Du was passed to me. In fact, it was not only Du´s dream, it was also a secret dream of both his auntie and uncle. We always said between ourselves that how wonderful it would be for Du to see the beautiful Retiro Park when we walked inside it.
Unbreakable Bond
Less than three months shy of Du´s 15th birthday, we lost him painfully and unexpectedly after he fought for his life in the vet clinic for a few days. In the midst of our adaptation to a new life without our best Lion around, strange things kept happening repeatedly. In the end, we were convinced that it was Du´s return to greet his beloved family. Du opened our eyes completely that animals have souls.
After realizing that invisible Du is monitoring us, I started calling his names and talked to him. There were times he responded immediately when I thought he had moved on already.

It had been a huge shock to us, as it was not the first time we lost our pets. We had kept bunnies and chinchillas before. Du is the only one that returned and stays near. He certainly loves us dearly. Our BONDING is not torn by his passing. Not even death can separate loving and stubborn Du from us.
Du carried a backpack inside his favorite Retiro Park.
Du must be shocked that suddenly he was no longer trapped inside his weak and painful body, and he might also notice that we could not interact with him in the same way as before. It could be frustrating for Du that we did not realize that he was still around us. The tremendous and sudden change did not discourage our smart and strong-willed Du to try saying HELLO. Du kept sending us messages in different forms at planned timing to impress and convince us.
Du was dressed like a mountain tiger when we went hiking in his favorite village, he was about 11 years old.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away.
